Curtis + Abby.

I had such a great time taking engagement photos for Curtis and Abby! This was my first photo shoot in Colorado and I could not have asked for a better couple! These two hardly made me work at all and the setting and lighting were just absolutely perfect. Abby introduced me to the location where we took these photos and it has became a favorite place for my family and I to walk in the evenings.

ethan + gina.

I was finally able to finish up these photos of some of my favorite people! Ethan is my brother-in-law and he and Gina are getting married next summer! I have to admit I'm missing my old house a little bit after looking through these photos which were taken in my yard. I guess it was a fair trade off to live right next to the mountains though!

 When Ethan and Gina got to my house for these photos, it started pouring rain. We were so bummed but decided to go for it anyway and miraculously the rain stopped for the most part
.
I am so happy with how these photos turned out. Gina's dress is adorable and I love seeing the sweet  relationship that these two have come out in these photos!

Ella.

I am so excited to share these photos of Ella and her parents! Ella is the niece of my best friend from childhood so it was so neat to be able to photograph her. :) Not to mention that she is an absolute doll. I've been super lucky with babies letting me photograph them, but Ella definitely takes the cake! We all could not believe how cooperative she was!

 Most of these portraits were taken at the very beginning of the shoot, and they are my favorites. :)
A gorgeous little red haired girl, an antique rocking chair and a picture perfect grassy spot under the shade trees?? Yes please!

Asher, twenty-one months.

Just wanted to share two special portraits of my Asher at twenty-one months old, taken on our back porch today :)

Amelia.

Amelia has been my sister's roommate since their freshman year of college, and in two weeks they will be graduating! These graduation photos were taken last fall, and I had so much fun capturing Amelia's fun and sweet personality even if it did require breaking and entering to include this amazing barn. Worth it though, right?

Asher, twenty months.

My own little asher turned twenty-one months old yesterday. This photo was taken on his "twenty month day". Oh how quickly they grow and change. I adore this photo of him - it truly captures his sweet + silly little soul. Wearing his hand-me down shirt that I made for his brother. Although he certainly keeps me on my toes - (an understatement) I am forever thankful for this sweet little teeny of mine.

Steve + Meredith.

I'm finally getting around to sharing photos from a beautiful wedding that I photographed last fall! Steve + Meredith are such a fun couple. When Meredith and I met over the summer to talk about their wedding photos, I remember her mentioning that she wanted me to capture the fun loving relationship that she and Steve along with their friends all share. While editing these photos, it was so magical to see the joy between this couple emerge through these pictures. Enjoy a little peek into Steve + Meredith's wedding day.
